Indiana NORML will be polling all the statewide political candidates in order to provide a sort of voter’s guide for Indiana voters in November. What questions shall we include? We are interested in your input. Thank you!

I am amazed at how this country is dragging their feet for SO SO long on legalizing marijuana! There are SO SO many bad reports on bad results of alcohol and smoking tobacco for all these years. This just blows my mind completely! There isn’t any kind of bad report at all about marijuana doing stuff this bad - like destroying families, fighting, anger, and beatings or killings while drunk, death in car wrecks by drunk drivers, even a recent POLICEMAN - ON DUTY - being drunk and killing a motorcyclist and severely injuring 2 others, cancer related illness and deaths due to smoking cigarettes.
Marijuana itself has a TOTAL opposite effect on a person. It numbs severe pain, it relaxes and calms a person, it helps people think clearly or more openly about things, you’re much more aware of surroundings when driving and are more careful.

It is legal in many countries throughout the world. It’s just not a big deal in Europe or Asia like it is here. I truly cannot believe our nation is SO backwards and against legalizing marijuana.
Think of how many millions - or even billions - would be brought into our gov’t with taxes if it were legalized and taxed like they do alcohol and tobacco!

I am all for freedom of choice. I have severe arthritis, case study pes cavus, and severe anxiety. The pills I was on for all of this tore my stomach up. If Marijuana would help me I should be able to use it. Jobs should not be able to fire you over medical use either. People on Xanax, pain pills, and etc. are allowed to work without repercussion.

I am tired of people blaming Tobacco as well. Yes, I smoke it is my choice as a adult to do so. I should not pay taxes without representation. Take off the alchol commericals and ad’s in magazines and newspapers as well as they did to tobacco. A bar owner should be able to decide if he wants smoking in their establishment they should just have to have a sign warning customers it is a smoking establishment. If you do not like that take your business elsewhere. Workers should be able to sue their employer because of the way they run their business because of smoking either. You are asked in construction, mining, and other jobs if you can handle chemicals, tight areas, and etc. Well if you can not handle smoke get out and look for another job.

Im sick of watching the state police fly around every year wasting millions of tax payers money for what? To search for a little bit of weed.come on get real all they are doing is helping the mex cartel. Let americans grow a litlle to help them self and spend those millions on the border were its needed…it makes me sick what this world is coming to wake up and look at the big picture.
